People have been asking for the recipe for liver cake. It makes excellent treats and as a training aid.
Small amount of liver - around 60/70p. 5 tablespoons of mixed herbs, 2 level teaspoons garlic, 3 large eggs or 4 medium, 2 teaspoons baking powder, at least 1lb self raising flour milk. Put liver into blender then eggs and small amount of milk, gradually add garlic & herbs & baking powder then gradually add flour and milk until consistency of sponge cake. Pour into greased baking tray, sprinkle with cheddar cheese, bake in centre of oven at about 190*C (375*F - Gas Mark 5) until firm to touch. Leave to cool cut into pieces and freeze.
Yum Yum -- the dogs will love it too!!!!

On Sunday 19th October, Perry Barr Branch hosted a 'Club Match' Teams from Perry Barr, Walsall, Birmingham South & Stafford Branches took part. Teams were up to 8 members in 4 obedience categories - Special Pre Beginner, Pre Beginner, Beginner & Novice.
We also held a small individual Breed competition for anyone who thought they would like to try something a bit different i.e. Breed Showing. There were 4 categories - Puppy, Standard Coat Coloured, Long Coat Coloured & White.
Perry Barr send their heart felt thanks to all who attended - any amount of organisation comes to nothing without competitors!!! THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT. Thanks must also go to our friend from Walsall for laying on their renowned barbecue. Also thanks to Dawn & Maggie who kept us going with plenty of hot tea & coffee on rather a chilly day.
Everyone seemed to vote the day a success & another branch is already looking into staging a similar event in future.
